Choose Horizontal for a left-right mirror, the fix for backwards selfie text, or Vertical to reflect the image top to bottom, useful for reflections and creative layouts.

Why is text backwards in my selfies, and does flipping fix it?

How do I flip photo horizontally instead of vertically?
Select the Horizontal option in the direction control before pressing Flip. Horizontal swaps left and right like a mirror on a wall, while Vertical swaps top and bottom like a reflection in water.
Does flipping an image degrade its quality?
The flip itself is lossless, since every pixel is moved rather than recalculated. Saving a JPG involves one re-encode, the same as any edit, while PNG output stays pixel-perfect. Dimensions never change.
Can I mirror image online without installing an app?
Yes, the whole operation runs in your browser using the canvas API. There's no download, no extension, and no server involved, so it works the same on a locked-down work laptop as it does at home.
What's the difference between this and a reverse image online search?
