How to use

Add your images
Drop any common image format onto the tool, up to 50 MB per file. With a single image, the Width and Height fields auto-fill with its real dimensions.

Choose a mode and dimensions
Pick Exact px, Max edge, or Percent. Enter your target width and height, and flip the Lock aspect ratio switch on to prevent stretching while you type.

Press the Resize button. One image downloads immediately with a resized- prefix; a batch is bundled into resized-images.zip with every file scaled by the same rule.

Common questions
What resize mode should I pick: Exact px, Max edge, or Percent?
Use Exact px when a platform specifies dimensions, like 1200x630 for a link preview. Max edge is safer for mixed batches because it caps the longest side without distorting anything. Percent works when you just want everything half size or double size.
Does the image resizer stop my photos from getting stretched?
It can. Turn on the Lock aspect ratio switch and editing one field recalculates the other automatically. Only switch it off when you genuinely want a non-proportional resize.
How do I resize a phone photo down to a sensible web size?
Drop it in, choose Exact px, and type your target width; with the ratio locked, a 4032x3024 shot turns into 1200x900 as soon as you enter 1200. That's a fraction of the original pixel count, which loads far faster.
Is there a way to resize photo free of watermarks or accounts?
This is one. There's no signup, no stamp on the output, and no file counter. The processing happens on your device, which is also why nothing needs a paid server behind it.
Why do images look soft after resizing above 100 percent?
Enlarging can't invent detail; the canvas interpolates new pixels from existing ones, so a 200 percent upscale spreads the same information across four times the area. Small bumps are fine, but big enlargements always trade sharpness.
Can I resize many images at once to the same dimensions?
Yes, drop them all in together. Every file gets the same mode and settings, and the results download as one ZIP. Max edge mode is usually the right choice there, since tall and wide files won't both fit one exact size.
What happens to quality when I change image dimensions online?
Downscaling with this tool uses the browser's high-quality smoothing, so shrinking a photo usually looks crisp. JPG output is re-encoded at 0.92 quality, a setting chosen to keep compression artifacts hard to spot.
